Bankers’ Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), a grooming constitution of NABARD, organised the ‘FPO-Startup Immersion Programme’ connected Friday, March 13, connected its campus, successful collaboration with a-IDEA, the Technology Business Incubator of ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad.
Inaugurating the programme, BIRD associated manager V.S. Balasubramanian emphasised the relation of FPOs (Farmer Producer Organisations) successful addressing the challenges faced by smallholder farmers by facilitating economies of scale, corporate bargaining power, and nonstop marketplace entree to the farmers’ produce.
