S. Kishore Kumar, Bill Collector of Tirumangalam Municipality, on with his person S. Vengadeswaran, was reportedly caught connected the charges of demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹15,000 from A. Nagarajan of Pudhucherry for processing his exertion seeking fixing of spot taxation for the location of his wife.
According to police, aft Mr. Nagarajan applied for fixing of spot taxation for his wife’s house, Kishore Kumar demanded ₹15,000 for processing the application. Based connected a ailment from Mr. Nagarajan, the officials attached to the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption portion of Madurai territory registered a lawsuit and laid a trap for the accused.
Mr. Nagarajan handed implicit the wealth to Vengadeswaran who accepted it. Later, the Bill Collector admitted that helium had asked his person to person the wealth connected his behalf.
