Bheema Shankar Taddewadi has been elected arsenic the nationalist president of the Canara Bank SC/ST Employees’ Welfare Association (Regd.) successful its first-ever election. The relation has implicit 12,000 members nationwide.
Mr. Taddewadi, a Senior Manager astatine Canara Bank’s MSME Branch successful Kalaburagi, secured implicit 70% of the votes.
The polls were conducted by the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Bengaluru, pursuing a directive by the High Court of Karnataka, with members voting from crossed India.
