The Belthangady constabulary connected Saturday, January 3, arrested Ummar Sharief, 42, of Deralakatte, and seized 55.48 grams of MDMA that helium possessed.
In a property release, the constabulary said Sharief was recovered sitting suspiciously successful a car parked adjacent a analyzable successful Kuvettu colony of Belthangady taluk connected Saturday evening. The constabulary said they seized 8 packets of MDMA worthy ₹5.54 lakh, the car and 4 cigarettes from the accused. Sharief revealed helium procured the MDMA from 1 Naushad, the constabulary said.
The constabulary registered a lawsuit nether Sections 8(C) and 22(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
