Senior IPS serviceman Sandeep Patil has completed the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 Western Sydney successful Australia.
Mr. Patil, who has been posted arsenic Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Northern Range, Belagavi, has completed his sixth Ironman.
Competing successful the M45-49 category, Mr. Patil completed the gruelling lawsuit — featuring a 1.9 km swim, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km fractional marathon — successful 7 hours 16 minutes and 25 seconds.
His contention splits included a 49.58 swim, 3.38.03 motorcycle thrust and a 2.35.06 run, securing 77th spot successful his division.
He has completed Ironman races successful Goa, Thailand, Poland, Turkey, Copenhagen and Sydney.
He said that each contention tested his endurance differently, but each demanded “consistency, subject and the mindset to ne'er halt moving forward”, said a release.
