A fiscal consciousness programme connected harmless banking habits for elder citizens was jointly organised by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Thiruvananthapuram, and the Kerala Police present connected Wednesday.
S. Sateesh Bino, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ernakulam Range, inaugurated the programme titled ‘Joint Awareness for Guarding Retirees Against Cyber-Threats and Handling Accounts’.
Juvvanapudi Mahesh, Deputy Commissioner of Police; Thomas Mathew, Regional Director for Kerala and Lakshadweep, RBI, Thiruvananthapuram; and Mohammed Sajid P.K., General Manager, RBI, Thiruvananthapuram, attended, according to a communication.
The programme covered the modus operandi of assorted cyber frauds, preventive strategies, harmless banking practices, and the grievance redressal mechanisms disposable successful banks, the connection said.
