An consciousness programme for sanitary workers connected the payment committee and Employees’ State Insurance Corporation was held present connected Wednesday.

Addressing the meeting, Mayor Jegan Periyasamy said a full of 3,160 sanitary workers had registered themselves with the Sanitary Workers’ Welfare Board and 700 of them had already received their individuality cards portion 425 others would get it soon done the portion offices.
Since the sanitary workers could avail a scope of aesculapian assitance, they should registry their names with ESIC also.
“Since the officials from ESIC and the payment committee are participating successful this meeting, the sanitary workers should registry their names present itself for availing these assistances,” Mr. Jegan said.
