Puranam, an alumnus of Inorganic Chemistry and presently the Head of Global Quality Investigations & Regulatory Communications astatine Viatris, USA, portion responding to the Vice-Chancellor’s call, contributed a full of ₹70 lakhs, earmarked arsenic ₹50 lakhs towards field beautification programme and ₹20 lakh for the constitution of postdoctoral fellowships to boost precocious research.
The Vice-Chancellor acknowledged and thanked respective different distinguished alumni for their contributions, including Prof. V. S. Raju, erstwhile Director of IIT Delhi and an alumnus of the Civil Engineering Department, was thanked for instituting a postdoctoral fellowship astatine AU and Prof. R. V. Rajkumar, erstwhile Director of IIT Bhubaneswar, was acknowledged for his generous publication of ₹7.5 lakhs to the Engineering College Alumni Association.
