Puranam, an alumnus of Inorganic Chemistry and presently the Head of Global Quality Investigations & Regulatory Communications astatine Viatris, USA, portion responding to the Vice-Chancellor’s call, contributed a full of ₹70 lakhs, earmarked arsenic ₹50 lakhs towards field beautification programme and ₹20 lakh for the constitution of postdoctoral fellowships to boost precocious research.
The Vice-Chancellor acknowledged and thanked respective different distinguished alumni for their contributions, including Prof. V. S. Rajkumar, erstwhile Director of IIT Bhubaneswar, was acknowledged for his generous publication of ₹7.5 lakhs to the Engineering College Alumni Association.
