Two Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) officials being arrested successful a bribery lawsuit shows that determination is zero tolerance for corruption successful the nationalist capital, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said connected Tuesday.

The CBI had arrested Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Mishra and Administrative Officer Devanshu Gautam of the MCD’s Shahdara North Zone connected Monday. According to the probe agency, it had received a ailment that the Administrative Officer sought ₹4 lakh connected behalf of the Deputy Commissioner for forwarding a favourable enquiry study to the competent authority. The CBI laid a trap and caught the Administrative Officer portion taking the bribe. Later, the Deputy Commissioner was besides arrested.
