Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Speaker M. Appavu distributed sports instrumentality to 576 sportspersons from 397 wards, covering 1 corporation, 3 municipalities and 17 municipality panchayats district, astatine the lawsuit held astatine V.O.C. stadium successful Palayamkottai connected Tuesday.

Speaking astatine the event, Mr. Appavu said that the Tamil Nadu authorities has been implementing assorted initiatives with the purpose of producing satellite people athletes and sportspersons from the state. Tirunelveli District Collector R. Sukumar, Tirunelveli Corporation Mayor G. Ramakrishnan, Corporation Commissioner Monika Rana and different officials were present.

In Thoothukudi, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Minister P. Geetha Jeevan distributed sports instrumentality astatine the lawsuit organised successful Tharuvai grounds.

A full of 618 sports instrumentality were distributed to beneficiaries of 417 wards of the Thoothukudi district, including Thoothukudi corporation, municipalities and municipality panchayats.

Thoothukudi District Collector K. Elambahavath, Thooothukudi Corporation Commissioner S. Priyanka, and different officials were present.
