The authorities connected Friday (January 2) gave its support to A.P. Airports Development Corporation Limited (APADCL) to get 418.14 acres astatine Damavaram colony of Nellore territory connected perpetual lease for the improvement of the projected Dagadarthi greenfield airdrome by paying a compensation of ₹13 lakh per acre. Special Chief Secretary (Infrastructure & Investment - Airports) M.T. Krishna Babu,the chairperson of the Negotiation Committee and Joint Collector of Nellore District had submitted a connection to the government, seeking support for the supra compensation complaint arsenic recommended by the Kavali RDO. Accordingly, the complaint was approved, and the District Collector has asked for the government’s clearance to proceed with the outgo of compensation.
