Anweshakaru troupe stages folk drama at Hyderabad’s Nadahabba celebrations

Hyderabad witnessed a taste dainty connected the eve of the 90th Nadahabba Celebrations (Navratri Festival) arsenic the ‘Anweshakaru’ play troupe presented the colony people Kannada play Heengondooraga astatine Karnataka Sahitya Mandira, Kachiguda, connected September 28.

The play, primitively written successful Telugu arsenic Kundeti Kommu by Diwakar Babu, was translated into Kannada by Gonwar Kishan Rao. The show captivated the audience, drafting enthusiastic applause throughout.

Actors Prahlad Joshi, Gururaj Kulkarni, Venkatesh G, Bheemsain G, Ram Murthy P, Guruprasad K N, Jitendra Khajandar, Adviachar Hallur, and Ravhavendra Desai delivered performances, their comic timing and engaging portrayals filling the theatre with laughter and resounding claps. The authentic colony mounting and accepted attire of the actors further enriched the ocular entreaty of the play.
