Anil Kumar Tippannavar bagged aggregate honours, including the Chief Minister’s Sword, astatine the passing-out parade of the 46th batch of trainee constabulary sub-inspectors astatine Karnataka Police Academy (KPA) successful Mysuru connected Sunday (March 29).
The different awards bagged by Mr. Tippannavar see the Best Trainee award, Chief Minister’s Trophy, DG and IGP’s Baton award, and a currency prize worthy ₹10,000, instituted by erstwhile Director General of Police B.N. Garudachar.
Best pistillate trainee
The Best Woman Trainee grant was bagged by Shambavi G., who besides received the Home Minister’s Trophy and the ₹10,000, instituted by Mr. Garudachar and his woman Vatsala Garudachar
Sunil M. won the Best Outdoor Trainee grant and DG and IGP’s Cup, portion Dasharath C.K. won the Best Rifle Firing grant and Sridhar L.K. won the Best Pistol Firing award.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who gave the awards aft watching the parade, besides announced a currency prize of ₹2 lakh to the unit of KPA.
The passing-out parade, comprising 327 trainee constabulary sub-inspectors, was besides attended by Home Minister G. Parameshwara, Mysuru territory in-charge Minister H.C. Mahadevappa, Minister for Animal Husbandry and Sericulture K. Venkatesh, Director General of Police M.A. Saleem, erstwhile Minister Tanveer Sait, and T.S. Srivatsa, MLA.
