The recently constituted task force, chaired by Health and Family Welfare Commissioner Veerapandian, comprises 24 members, including nationalist aesculapian experts and elder officials from the Veterinary, Panchayati Raj, Municipal Administration, and Agriculture departments. The sheet has been tasked with preparing a broad strategy to tackle diseases specified arsenic dengue, malaria, diarrhoea, tuberculosis, leprosy, and different infections.

Officials from secondary wellness care, Panchayati Raj, Municipal Administration, and Agriculture Departments, on with representatives of the Union Health Ministry and the World Health Organisation (WHO), are besides portion of the committee.
