Minister for School Education Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi and erstwhile Government Chief Whip R. Manoharan were among the salient candidates who filed their nominations for the Assembly elections successful Tiruchi territory connected Saturday.

Mr. Mahesh, 48, the DMK’s Tiruchi southbound territory secretary, filed his information for the Tiruverumbur constituency. He was accompanied by Durai Vaiko, Tiruchi MP, and functionaries of the confederation parties.
