The Tahsildar of Ananthasagaram successful SPSR Nellore territory has been suspended aft a pistillate worker accused him of intersexual harassment astatine workplace. District Collector Himanshu Shukla issued the suspension orders present connected Thursday (February 26) evening.
According to the order, the Tahsildar had indulged successful derogatory verbal behaviour of intersexual nature, including intersexual harassment of pistillate astatine workplace. She complained to Atmakur Revenue Development Officer (RDO) connected February 2, 2026.
Based connected the RDO report, a section ailment committee was formed for an inquiry. During the probe, the allegations levelled by the pistillate were proved and the committee opined that the serviceman had behaved negligently, irresponsibly and not done his morganatic duties.
Taking discipinary proceedings against the accused official, the Collector placed him nether suspension arsenic per the Sexual Harassment of Women astatine Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) (POSH) Act, 2013.
