Amid opposition from commuters, Railway Ministry extends Bengaluru-Kannur Express to Kozhikode

The South Western Railway connected Friday, issued a notification extending KSR Bengaluru-Kannur-KSR Bengaluru overnight Express via Mangaluru Central to Kozhikode.

The hold comes amid stiff absorption from coastal Karnataka commuters, who were already upset with its archetypal hold from Mangaluru Central to Kannur. The past Minister of State for Railways E. Ahmed had got the past Yeshwantpur-Mangaluru Central overnight Express to Kannur successful December 2009.
