Aid convoy heads from Turkey to Iran

The Red Cross and Turkey's Red Crescent connected Friday (April 10, 2026) dispatched an exigency humanitarian assistance convoy from Turkey to Iran, arsenic the organisation warned of a "desperate" humanitarian concern successful the country.

"Humanitarian needs successful Iran are highly high," International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) spokesperson Scott Craig told AFP soon earlier the convoy departed from the outskirts of Ankara.
