Bengaluru constabulary person registered a lawsuit against the idiosyncratic of an Instagram relationship named ‘Kannada Chitraranga’ for allegedly creating an AI-edited video showing Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar pushing and causing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to fall.
The ailment was filed by Deepu C.R., a instrumentality practitioner, who shared the nexus to the Instagram station and stated that the video was AI-edited. It was posted with the caption “DKShi avaru heege maadabaradittu,” meaning “DKS shouldn’t person done this.”
According to the complainant, the accused created a fake video mimicking a quality transmission broadcast, portraying breaking quality visuals showing Mr. Shivakumar pushing Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. The video allegedly contained statements specified as: “Shivakumar pushed CM Siddaramaiah and the second fell,” “Happened during the meeting,” and “Enraged DKS pushed CM.”
The complainant said the video tarnishes the representation of some politicians and is of a quality that could disturb nationalist bid and harmony.
Following the complaint, the Sadashivanagar Police registered an FIR nether Sections 192 (wantonly giving provocation with intent to origin riot), 336(4) (forgery), and 353 (statements conducing to nationalist mischief) of the BNS. The constabulary are yet to place the suspect.
