The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) connected Tuesday (May 19, 2026) launched simultaneous raids astatine aggregate locations linked to Kumar, the General Manager of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) Red Hills division, successful transportation with a disproportionate assets case.
According to officials, 5 ACB teams began searches from the aboriginal hours of Tuesday (May 19, 2026) astatine properties associated with the accused, including his residence astatine Mallapur.
During the searches, officials recovered currency amounting to ₹1.05 crore from the location of the accused officer.
The raids were launched aft the ACB registered a disproportionate assets lawsuit against Kumar. Officials said searches were being conducted astatine respective locations arsenic portion of the ongoing investigation.
