ACB detects ₹14.23 crore shortfall in Sathupally Municipality

The ACB, Khammam Range, conducted the raid connected March 31 astatine the bureau of the Municipal Commissioner, scrutinising records, fiscal transactions, taxation collections and pending applications. Officials recovered that ₹13.08 crore nether the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) remains uncollected, portion spot taxation dues stood astatine ₹1.02 crore. In addition, ₹8.72 lakh successful buying analyzable spot taxation and ₹3.80 lakh successful advertisement taxation were besides recovered pending, with nary collections recorded nether the latter.
