A.P. blind cricket promised govt. support

A delegation from the Andhra Pradesh Blind Cricket Association met Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand astatine the Secretariat connected Wednesday (December 3).

The team, led by Women’s Blind T20 World Cup-winning skipper Deepika and squad subordinate Karuna Kumari, paid a courtesy sojourn and received peculiar appreciation from the Chief Secretary for bringing planetary designation to the State.

Congratulating the players connected their outstanding achievement, Mr. Vijayanand praised their determination and resilience, stating that they had brought glory to Andhra Pradesh. He assured that the authorities would widen each indispensable enactment and assistance for the improvement of unsighted cricket and the payment of visually impaired sportspersons.

The delegation besides included A.P. Blind Cricket Association president Ch. Sarath Babu, caput G. Ravinder, Arjuna Awardee manager and treasurer Ajay Kumar Reddy, Team India Manager Shika Shetty, committee manager K. Keerthana and aesculapian caput Jinka Lakshmi Prasanna.
