Retired IPS serviceman A.B. Venkateswara Rao has served ineligible notices connected erstwhile Directors General of Police D. Gautam Sawang and R.P. Thakur, IPS officers Ravi Shankar Ayyanar (Director General of CID), P.V. Sunil Kumar, P.S.R. Anjaneyulu and K. Raghurami Reddy, retired further SP (CID) R. Vijay Paul, retired main accounts serviceman successful the DGP bureau C. Govinda Rajan, ACB further SP S. Sai Krishna, ex-CPRO to CM Pudi Srihari, and to the State of Andhra Pradesh represented by its Chief Secretary nether Section 80 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.

The notices are for damages amounting to ₹1 crore, compensation for malicious prosecution, unlawful suspension, fabrication of authoritative records, defamation, and usurpation of cardinal rights guaranteed nether Article 21 of the Constitution.
