87 midshipmen receive B.Tech at Ezhimala academy

The Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, held its 26th convocation ceremonial connected Friday, with 87 midshipmen of the 109th people awarded BTech degrees.

Ten cadets from Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Bangladesh were among those who graduated. V. Narayanan, Secretary, Department of Space, and Chairman of ISRO, conferred the degrees successful the beingness of parents, faculty, and elder naval officers.

The ceremony, attended by INA Commandant Vice-Admiral Manish Chadha and academy staff, marked the completion of the midshipmen’s grooming successful Applied Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, nether Jawaharlal Nehru University.

The curriculum, officials say, prepares young officers to grip precocious naval technology, network-centric operations, and emerging maritime warfare systems.

Dr. Narayanan congratulated the graduates and administered the convocation oath.

He besides presented the Chief of the Naval Staff rolling trophies to the champion performers — Midshipman Vishnu K.K. (AEC), Midshipman Rishav Kumar (ECE), and Midshipman Arjun Singh (ME).
