A full of 76 canines and 105 handlers of the 25th batch of the All India Level Canine Basic Induction Course graduated from the Integrated Intelligence Training Academy (IITA) successful Moinabad connected Tuesday.
The ceremonial marked the completion of an intensive eight-month grooming programme, equipping canine units and their handlers with specialised skills for instrumentality enforcement operations. They batch included 42 canines from Telangana, 30 from Bihar CID and 4 from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)

Addressing the gathering, Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence) Vijay Kumar said constabulary canines play a important relation successful transgression detection, explosives and narcotics identification, and search-and-rescue operations. He emphasised that the coordination betwixt handler and canine is captious for operational success.
ISW & OSD V. B. Kamalasan Reddy noted that since its constitution successful 2004, the academy has trained 919 constabulary canines and 1,310 handlers from assorted States. He highlighted the facility’s specialised infrastructure, including a 650-yard olfaction parkland and a modern veterinary hospital.

Awards were presented to outstanding performers crossed categories specified arsenic explosives detection, narcotics detection, tracking and carnal performance. Senior constabulary officials attended the parade, which was commanded by M. Suresh Reddy.
