The Department of Forests, Government of Karnataka, volition observe the 71st Wildlife Week from October 2 to 8, with a bid of consciousness and outreach programmes.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the week-long celebrations on October 2 by flagging disconnected a walkathon from Vidhana Soudha to Lalbagh successful Bengaluru. The pursuing days volition feature tableaux and thoroughfare plays in fringe villages of Bannerghatta, Alekal, Harohalli, and Kodihalli wildlife ranges, on with a painting contention for specially-abled children at Bannerghatta Biological Park.
