The National Lok Adalat held crossed Bidar territory resolved 66,440 cases done settlement, Senior Civil Judge and District Legal Services Authority Member-Secretary Prakash Arjun Bansode said connected Tuesday.
Addressing a property league successful Bidar, Mr. Bansode said that the Lok Adalat was organised nether the absorption of the State Legal Services Authority successful each District Courts.
Compensation totalling ₹25.15 crore was provided to the parties involved, helium added.
Mr. Bansode said that 11,869 pending cases were settled and ₹13.16 crore paid to beneficiaries.
In addition, 54,571 pre-litigation cases were resolved, providing ₹11.98 crore successful compensation.
He besides noted that 5 couples were reconciled successful matrimonial disputes. A full of 23 long-pending cases and 12 cases involving elder citizens were besides disposed of during the Lok Adalat.
