On Friday (May 1, 2026), U.S. President Donald Trump rejected the 60-day bounds acceptable by the War Powers Resolution, calling it “totally unconstitutional,” and said that his medication has nary plans to question legislature support for the continuation of subject operations related to the struggle with Iran.

Mr. Trump, speaking to the press, rejected the ineligible model established nether the War Powers Resolution of 1973, which requires a President to get legislature support to proceed hostilities beyond 60 days.
