A full of 58 nominations were filed connected Saturday for the 5 Assembly constituencies successful the territory for the April 23 Assembly elections.
Candidates filed 15 nominations for Tirunelveli, 10 for Palayamkottai and Ambasamudram each, 16 for Nanguneri and 7 for Radhapuram connected Saturday.
DMK campaigner S. Subramanian, AIADMK’s N. Ganesaraja, and TVK candidates R.S. Murughan filed their papers successful Tirunelveli. In Ambasamudram, AIADMK’s Esakki Subaya, Bahujan Samaj Party’s R. Esaikannan and TVK’s S. Rajagopal were among those filed their nomnations.
