Around 10,000 voters, students, members of self-help groups and persons with disabilities flew kites, made sculptures retired of formation sand, cycled and rode two-wheelers to guarantee 100% voting successful Chengalpattu district. Saturday evening witnessed a 40 km-long rally that started out from Sholinganallur on bicycles, past switched implicit to bikes, autorickshaws, cars, buses, and finally fishing boats at Mamallapuram.  

“We privation 100% voting this time, which is the purpose of the Election Commission. The rhythm rally was led by 100 assemblage students for 9 km. They handed implicit their batons to the two-wheeler riders at Padur, wherever cultural programmes were held. Kelambakkam and Kovalam too witnessed taste events with drummers,” explained District Collector S. Malathi Helen.  

At Mamallapuram, implicit 300 students and first-time voters took portion successful a kite-flying event. They had made their ain kites with messages for voters.
