A full of 3,733 candidates were awarded degrees astatine the 15th convocation of Yenepoya (Deemed-to-be-University) astatine Deralakatte successful Mangaluru connected Saturday, November 15.

The students — undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D — who received degrees were from the departments of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing and Healthcare, Commerce and Management, Science, Arts, Pharmacy, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy. Gold medals were awarded to 10 candidates.

Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit, Vice-Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, delivered the convocation address. She said that the younker should strive to physique an inclusive society.

“Stay curious. Think boldly. Stand by what is right,” she advised.

Taslimarif Saiyed, Director and CEO of the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), Bengaluru, who was the impermanent of honour, said that erstwhile cognition grows into wisdom, contented shapes values, values usher purpose, and intent leads to a beingness rooted successful humanity. Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, Chancellor of Yenepoya (Deemed-to-be-University), presided implicit the event.
