20,000 voices unite at Adikavi Nannaya University to celebrate 150 years of Vande Mataram

Around 20,000 people, including students from Adikavi Nannaya University and its affiliated colleges and civilian nine representatives, sang the nationalist opus Vande Mataram connected Saturday connected the assemblage field adjacent Rajamahendravaram. The lawsuit marked the 150th day of the song, celebrating its cultural, humanities and affectional significance.

Prior to the singing, Minister for Tourism and Culture Kandula Durgesh, Vice-Chancellor S. Prasanna Sree and Rajamahendravaram Urban Development Authority Chairman B. Venkata Ramana Chowdary led a rally carrying a monolithic 25,000-square-foot nationalist emblem crossed the campus.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Durgesh said that Vande Mataram, penned by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, would proceed to animate aboriginal generations. He besides recalled the publication of Pingali Venkaiah to the state struggle, peculiarly his relation successful designing the nationalist flag.
