17 students of government primary school fall ill after consuming mid-day meal

Around 17 students were taken sick aft consuming mid-day meals astatine the Government Primary School successful Jammikunta municipality of Karimnagar territory connected Monday.

According to sources, respective students complained of stomach-ache and vomiting aft eating the mid-day meal. 

They were shifted to the authorities infirmary successful the town. Three of them were administered intravenous fluids and the remainder of them were kept nether reflection astatine the infirmary earlier being discharged precocious successful the afternoon, sources added.

Anxious parents of the hospitalised students blamed it connected ‘substandard’ vegetables and eggs being utilized successful the mid-day meal.
