The Tamil Nadu authorities led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has deputed 12 IAS officers to districts wherever dense rains person been forecast by the India Meteorological Department. A. Annadurai for Nagapattinam, H. Krishnanunni for Thanjavur, P. Sri Venkata Priya for Kallakurichi, M. Vijayalakshmi for Ariyalur and M. Lakshmi for Perambalur.
