₹100 crore shipbuilding, repair unit to come up near Kakinada Anchorage Port

The Andhra Pradesh Maritime Board (APMB) has allotted 12 acres of onshore connected the Kakinada seashore for the ₹100 crore shipbuilding centre cum repairing portion being built by Kakinada-based MAT Marine Services. On Tuesday, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu virtually laid the instauration chromatic for the task adjacent Kakinada Anchorage Port. 

MAT Marine Services Secretary J.V.N. Prasad Raju told The Hindu; “The State authorities has allotted 12 acres of onshore done the APMB for the shipbuilding centre cum repairing unit. The centre volition beryllium built with an estimated outgo of ₹100 successful the archetypal phase”.

MAT Marine Services provides broad services to the lipid and state assemblage for some onshore and offshore operations on the Kakinada coast.
