10,700 cases settled at Lok Adalat in undivided West Godavari District

As galore arsenic 10,798 cases were amicably settled during the National Lok Adalat held crossed the undivided West Godavari territory connected December 13, 2025, according to District Principal Judge and chairperson of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Y.S. Sridevi.

The National Lok Adalat was organised nether the directions of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), New Delhi, the Andhra Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Amaravati, and the Administrative Judge for the undivided West Godavari territory Justice D. Ramesh. The programme was conducted nether the supervision of the District Legal Services Authority, Eluru.

A full of 34 Lok Adalat benches were constituted crossed the territory to guarantee creaseless and effectual disposal of cases. These included 9 benches successful Eluru, 4 each successful Bhimavaram, Kovvur, and Narasapuram, 3 successful Tanuku, 4 successful Tadepalligudem, 2 successful Jangareddygudem, and 1 seat each successful Palakollu, Nidadavole, Chintalapudi, and Bhimadole.

Of the full cases settled, 10,351 were transgression cases, 153 centrifugal mishap claims (MACT) cases, and 294 civilian cases. In addition, 238 pre-litigation cases were besides resolved done communal settlement, importantly reducing the load connected courts and providing speedy justness to litigants.

Giving a mandal-wise breakup, Ms. Sridevi said that 1,988 cases were settled successful Eluru, 974 successful Bhimavaram, 1,248 successful Chintalapudi, 971 successful Jangareddygudem, 1,092 successful Kovvur, 434 successful Narasapuram, 458 successful Palakollu, 1,433 successful Tadepalligudem, 1,082 successful Tanuku, 919 successful Nidadavole, and 153 successful Bhimadole.

The District Legal Services Authority expressed gratitude to each those who contributed to the occurrence of the National Lok Adalat, including judicial officers, advocates, constabulary personnel, gross staff, security officials, slope officials, chit money representatives, labour section officials, municipal staff, BSNL officials, territory panchayat staff, transport, excise and railway officials, advocator clerks, agriculture section officials, media representatives, and unit from assorted different departments.
